Residents reported substantial frozen pellets measuring up to 7 centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been affected by significant hail.

Victorian Weather Woes
Meanwhile, nearly one thousand energy customers in Victoria also faced energy failures after the metropolitan area experienced its wettest day in over 500 days.
Emergency response teams handled 598 emergency reports across the state, mainly for building damage but also for fallen timber and flooding.

At one point on the previous day, more than 28k energy customers in the state were lacking electricity.
Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along much of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tuesday was expected to become the wettest day, with continued thunderstorm potential anticipated across various areas of both regions.
Safety Concern
Health officials warned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, particularly given the current weather patterns.
This warning comes after historical occurrences where similar conditions led to substantial respiratory problems in the region.
